Building more than one home

Not only did I recently move in to a new apartment after being sort of “homeless” for a year, but I am also creating another kind of home with the man I love [who lives on the other side of the world, in America]. This year is all about finding my way home. No wonder my new art is full of drifting houses.

Yes…but home is a really complex concept…I felt like a guest in my own life and in my home for 5 years with the man I left last year. Home is where you can grow and feel at peace, but also it’s within yourself always.

    That was beautiful.

Home is also where you shit in your slippers 😉 or where you can sit naked on the furniture without feeling like you have contaminated them with germs and disgrace 😉
