Mia, have you catalogued your artwork? I mean, do you have any idea just how many pieces you have sold and are out there corrupting the masses? Or, do you not care . . . meaning , once a piece of artwork leaves you then it has separated from you?
I did catalogue my sold artwork in the beginning of my career, but then everything was moving so fast, I was having 3-4 art shows at the same time in different galleries around the world and it was difficult to keep track of the artworks as they would be shipped from me and being returned and the shipped off somewhere else, and I was depressed at the time, I had so much going on … no wonder I was all burned out in the end…
But as soon as I am finished with a piece, I detach myself from it, and move on to the next idea and the next piece…
But they are my babies : ) I have a soft spot in my heart for all of them, some have a bigger spot than others…sometimes because they are technically better than other works and sometimes because they are very personal..
